Ian Kushnir is a Dearborn Native. He has developed a substantial career as a freelance photographer featured in local, national and international publications and websites. His photography has captured U.S. presidential visits to Detroit, sporting events, festivals, and community events. He is also a respected fire photographer in the Detroit area.He had the great honor to ride and document Pontiac Fire before they became part of Waterford. His photos have recently joined the Collections of the Walter P Reuther Library at Wayne State University under "The Ian Kushnir Collection " Included in that collection are photos related to Labor Issues, Detroit Fire Department, Pontiac Fire Department and The Lost Detroit News Riot photos from 1967.
